Job summary

A local restaurant in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage day-to-day restaurant operations, which includes handling stock orders, food cost control, and supplier communications in Hindi or Punjabi. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to handle pressure, and show a positive attitude. Flexible working hours are included, with staff meals provided and support available for work permits if applicable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant floor operations.
  • Handle ordering of stock, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Maintain food cost control and inventory records.
  • Communicate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  • Ensure coordination between kitchen and service teams.
  • Check incoming item quality and monitor wastage.
  • Assist in customer handling when required.
  • Support management with daily operational tasks.

  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers for timely deliveries.

  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service team.

  • Check quality of incoming items and monitor wastage.

  • Assist in customer handling when required.

  • Support management in daily operational tasks.

Requirements
  • Hindi / Punjabi speaking is a must (for kitchen & supplier communication).

  • Able to handle pressure during peak hours.

  • Experience in ordering, inventory, and supplier management preferred.

  • Good communication and problem‑solving skills.

  • Flexible working hours, including weekends & public holidays.

  • Positive attitude, discipline, and strong sense of responsibility.

Work Details
  • 6-day work week

  • Split shift / straight shift depending on operations

  • Based on experience
