Industry: Lift & Escalator Services
Working Hours:
Weekdays: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Alternate Saturdays:9:00am – 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Compliance (BCA Focus)

  • Act as the internal expert on Singapore BCA regulations (e.g., BMSM Regulations, PTO protocols, MCP requirements).
  • Ensure all service, maintenance, and modernization activities meet statutory safety and quality standards.
  • Manage regulatory documentation and liaise with relevant authorities during audits or inquiries.

2. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop service technicians, supervisors, and operational teams.
  • Build a strong safety culture founded on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Foster effective communication between field, project, and support teams.

3. Operational & Financial Performance

  • Oversee dispatching, scheduling, repair planning, and resource allocation.
  • Manage budgets, control labour/material costs, and implement process improvements.
  • Track KPIs such as response times, equipment uptime, and service quality to drive performance.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex service or technical issues.
  • Build long-term relationships with key clients through professional communication and reliable service delivery.
  • Ensure service standards consistently exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of senior operations or management experience in the lift/escalator industry in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of BCA regulations and compliance frameworks (mandatory).
  • Proven leadership track record managing technical teams.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related fields preferred.
  • Strategic, hands‑on leader with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
