Job description

Opportunity to build and shape a new business line in Islamic financing. Experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our retail and branch operations, establishing and managing the full operations function for our Islamic financing division. Lead retail teams, oversee store operations, develop SOPs, and work closely with management to ensure all processes comply with Shariah principles and regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands‑on, structured, and experienced in scaling operations across multiple retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and lead the operations team for the Islamic financing business.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all branches.
• Manage and supervise retail staff, store managers, and operational executives.
• Oversee daily store operations including customer servicing, documentation, and transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with Islamic financing principles and regulatory standards.
• Conduct outlet visits, operational audits, and performance reviews.
• Drive operational efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, finance, compliance, IT, and Shariah advisory teams on new launches and enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ working experience, preferably in financial services, retail operations, or branch management.
• Prior experience in Islamic finance or Islamic banking institutions.
• Proven track record in leading teams, managing operations, and implementing SOPs.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, risk controls, and customer-facing workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and lead a team across multiple locations.
