Seeking experienced & responsible Operations Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations & ensure service quality standards are met across all client sites. The ideal candidate will lead a team of site supervisors & cleaners, manage manpower deployment, maintain client satisfaction, & ensure full compliance with NEA & Safety regulations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cleaning, facilities, or environmental services industry
- Familiar with NEA cleaning business licence requirements and Progressive Wage Model (PWM).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of workplace safety, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operations.
- Able to handle multiple sites and travel between project locations as required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); able to prepare reports and schedules.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
- WSQ or bizSAFE certifications (advantage).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate & supervise daily cleaning operations across assigned sites.
- Manage, schedule, & deploy manpower to meet operational needs efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and Gemba walks to ensure service quality & safety standards.
- Liaise with clients to address feedback, resolve service issues promptly, & maintain strong relationships.
- Ensure all cleaning staff comply with NEA licensing, WSQ training, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
- Monitor & control operational costs, including manpower, materials, & equipment usage.
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies & equipment maintenance.
- Lead, motivate, and train supervisors & cleaners to maintain high work standards & discipline.
- Prepare operational reports, performance data, & incident summaries for management review.
- Support business growth by assisting with new site takeovers, quotations, and tender requirements when needed.
