A specialty coffee brand in Singapore seeks an Operations Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations and fulfillment. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in operations or logistics and be comfortable with physical tasks. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating B2B deliveries, and engaging in brand activation events. This operationally intensive role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work every Saturday at various locations.
Modern Hippi is a fast-growing specialty coffee brand bringing premium freeze-dried coffee to modern consumers who value convenience without compromise. As we expand across retail, e-commerce, and B2B channels, we need a hands-on Operations Manager who can ensure that our day-to-day execution runs smoothly and professionally across all touchpoints.
This is a high-ownership, operationally intensive role. You must be comfortable working on the ground, managing logistics, coordinating fulfillment, and representing the brand during sampling and pop-up activations.
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of Modern Hippi’s daily operations, fulfillment workflows, and B2B servicing. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, physically able to handle operational tasks, and confident interacting with customers and business partners.
You will oversee inventory, prepare orders, run sampling activities, support B2B deliveries, and help expand placement into new retail and café accounts.
Oversee daily fulfillment of online orders, including picking, packing, labelling, and dispatch preparation.
Ensure accuracy in all order processing and maintain high standards in packaging and customer experience.
Prepare materials, labels, and inventory for daily and weekly operations.
Manage stock levels, expiry checks, and storage organization.
Coordinate replenishment, receiving goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Prepare packing lists and ensure all fulfillment materials are available.
Handle weekly B2B fulfillment twice a week to supermarkets, cafés, hotels, and restaurants.
Maintain good relationships with retail and B2B partners through reliable service and clear communication.
Introduce Modern Hippi products to new potential B2B partners and support onboarding.
Set up and operate temporary booths or sampling stations in supermarkets, events, and partner stores.
Act as a barista to prepare product samples, share product knowledge, and engage customers.
Represent the Modern Hippi brand professionally and energetically.
Work every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at B2B partner sampling locations or pop-up activations.
Support in hiring, coordinating, and supervising temporary staff and part-timers for sampling activities.
Assist with logistics planning, equipment setup, and operational workflows.
Provide operational support to the Director and other teams as needed.
Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements in operational processes.
2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, retail execution, or F&B operations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Physically able to handle operational duties (lifting cartons, setting up booths, moving equipment).
Comfortable acting as a barista and engaging with customers during sampling.
Experience interacting with supermarkets or B2B retail partners is a plus.
High level of professionalism, reliability, and initiative.
Ability to work every Saturday (10 AM – 5 PM) for sampling activities.
Valid driver’s license is a bonus but not required.
