Job Description & Requirements

Main Tasks and Duties

1. Oversee the full scope of branch operations management, including clearing & settlement, treasury back-office, general operations processing, parameter management, and other operational functions.
2. Lead the development of the RMB Clearing Bank, ensuring compliant, secure and stable operations; conduct business analysis, offshore RMB research, data reporting and regulatory submissions; promote RMB internationalization and provide RMB business training to participating banks in line with PBOC and Head Office directives; drive the development of Singapore’s offshore RMB business.
3. Lead the construction and enhancement of systems related to clearing, payments and operations management; continuously upgrade clearing infrastructure, streamline processes, and enhance smart operations through technology innovation.
4. Collaborate closely with other departments to support new product and business initiatives.
5. Formulate and regularly optimize operational policies across the branch; manage operational risks and ensure business continuity in accordance with local regulatory requirements and Head Office guidelines.
6. Perform other tasks assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

1. Mater degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
2. 20 years (or above) of experience in Banking sector and 5 years (or above) of experience in managerial role.
3. Good command of English and Chinese languages as this role will need frequent communication with China regulatory authorities, Singapore regulatory authorities, clients, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
4. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
5. Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments.
