Job description

The Role

Support the set-up and ramp-up of Yubico’s APJ operations, starting with Singapore.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Build a strong, high‑performing team by leading, hiring, and mentoring warehouse staff; foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and data‑driven problem‑solving.
• Manage and optimize daily supply chain operations, including production, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams (Sales, Finance, Engineering) and liaise with external partners (3PLs) to achieve strategic objectives.
• Develop, monitor, and report on performance & quality metrics, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Direct and execute continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen events, value stream mapping) to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Basic Qualifications (Essential)

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment, ideally with a company in the technology/hardware space.
• Proven experience implementing Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, waste reduction, bottleneck analysis).
• 2+ years of experience in team leadership, coordination, or management.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and data‑driven problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach.

Qualifications (Bonus)

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (in addition to an Engineering degree).
• Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt certification.
• Experience with light manufacturing, technical product assembly, or kitting processes.
• Advanced proficiency with an ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and WMS (e.g., NetSuite WMS).
• Experience working directly with a third‑party logistics (3PL) provider model.
