Qualifications

• Understanding of the Far East & South East Asia trade patterns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and procedures for vessel operations.
• Monitor shipping costs and enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with legal and insurance teams to minimize risk.
• Act as a liaison between management and chartering.
• Keep charterers updated on post-fixture activities.
• Liaise with clients to resolve post-fixture issues.
• Handle freight invoices and port disbursement accounts.

Job Description

• Maintain the safety standards and procedures of the day-to-day operations of the vessels we are operating
• Monitor and analyze shipping costs, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency
• Coordinating with the legal and insurance team to minimize risk and exposure
• Acting as a liaison between management and chartering
• Keep charterers and owners advised on all post-fixture activities to ensure relevant operational information is passed on timely
• Liaise with clients on resolution processes for post-fixture issues
• Handle post-fixture tasks such as freight invoices, demurrage/dispatch, and port disbursement accounts

Requirements
