BYD SINGAPORE is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support daily operation, reliability, and maintenance of our EV charging network in Singapore. The role focuses on monitoring, fault diagnosis, preventive and corrective maintenance across charging sites, and coordinating with technicians and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and has hands-on experience with EV charging systems, electrical infrastructure, and field

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and field service experience preferred.
• Experience with EV charging, electrical systems, equipment maintenance or infrastructure operations is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate field activities with technicians, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor charger status, alarms and network performance using CSMS/NOC systems.
• Diagnose faults and coordinate incident response for timely resolution.
• Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on charging equipment.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and good operating condition.
• Support aftersales cases and coordinate with technicians and internal teams.
• Maintain maintenance records, incident reports and asset information.
• Assist testing, readiness and handover of new charging sites.
• Track performance metrics like MTTR and maintenance completion.
• Prepare operational reports and suggest improvements.

We are looking for a hands-on Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support the daily operation, reliability and maintenance of our EV charging network in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor charger status, alarms, charging sessions and network performance through CSMS/NOC systems.
• Diagnose faults, coordinate incident response and support timely technical issue resolution.
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for charging equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure chargers, cables, connectors and related facilities are safe and in good operating condition.
• Support technical aftersales cases and coordinate with technicians, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain maintenance records, incident reports, asset information and compliance documentation.
• Support testing, operational readiness and handover of new charging sites.
• Monitor equipment performance, recurring failures, response time, MTTR and maintenance completion.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend corrective or improvement actions.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in EV charging, electrical systems, equipment maintenance, field service or infrastructure operations preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Able to coordinate field activities and work effectively with technicians, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with EV charging systems, CSMS or charging infrastructure would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages to communicate with China HQ and stakeholders of diverse cultural backgrounds.
