Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of the National Billing System.

This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in healthcare billing, operational management, and team leadership.

The Operations Lead will ensure efficient billing processes, drive process improvements, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the National Billing System across multiple healthcare settings, including acute inpatient, outpatient, polyclinic, day surgery, and emergency departments. Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient billing processes, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals. Foster a collaborative and accountable culture to meet operational and strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact with healthcare institutions, conduct regular meetings to provide operational updates, gather feedback, and ensure smooth integration of billing processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational optimization and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. Use data-driven approaches to monitor performance, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of system upgrades and new initiatives within the billing program. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reporting systems to track operational performance. Provide regular updates and actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10-13 years of experience in healthcare operations, billing systems, or financial management. Proven track record in leading large-scale programs and managing cross-functional teams.
Skills required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • 10–13 years in operations, service delivery, or incident management roles.
  • Proven experience managing and closing high volumes of tickets in tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, SCCD, etc.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and drive accountability across teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks is a plus.
Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of healthcare billing processes, regulatory compliance, and financial systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP BRIM (Hybris) solution stack and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
