A technology company in Singapore is seeking an Operations & Facilities Engineer/Senior Engineer to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead a team of production technicians. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the semiconductor wafer manufacturing industry.
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations related to specialty chemical products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to production technicians and operators to ensure efficient production activities and foster a positive, high-performance work environment.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues that arise during the production process in a timely and effective manner.
Monitor stock levels of equipment spare parts and consumables to ensure availability and prevent production downtime.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair activities, including managing relationships with external service providers. Maintain accurate maintenance records to support future reference and effective troubleshooting.
Assist in the development, review, and implementation of manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support compliance and documentation for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 audits and related activities.
Identify and implement process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and recommend performance improvements, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements:
Min. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Production Engineering or any other related field.
Min. 3 years of work experience. Prior experience in operations management or facility management within a semiconductor wafer manufacturing environment or similar high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
A meticulous approach to quality control and adherence to SOPs.
Team player with strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to multitask, work extra hours and manage efforts on multiple projects according to assigned priorities.
Able to work under pressure, prioritize workload systematically and make sound decisions. Expected to have a high level of resilience, initiative, interpersonal skill, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to respond to emergency situations (if necessary).
