Job summary

A leading energy trading firm in Singapore seeks an individual to manage end-to-end LPG cargo operations. The role involves reviewing trade contracts and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and compliance. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in relevant fields and possess strong communication skills in English and Chinese. An eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment is essential. Experience in commodities or LPG trading is preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Manage end-to-end LPG cargo operations and trade finance processes for physical shipments.

Review, negotiate, and execute LPG trade contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and counterparty terms.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (traders, suppliers, buyers, ship owners, shipping agents, terminals, and banks) to ensure smooth shipment execution from load port to destination.

Oversee post-shipment operations such as demurrage handling, accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP), freight and freight-related cost reconciliation, and voyage cost analysis.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.

Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and delivers with accuracy.

Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced energy trading environment.

Highly motivated with a positive and proactive attitude.

Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to liaise with regional counterparties.

Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in operations within a commodities or LPG trading firm.
