A leading trading company in Singapore is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to manage the full spectrum of shipping documents for both local and overseas markets. Job description
Roles & Responsibilities

Role Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for the full spectrum of shipping documents for local and overseas market such as Vietnam.
Liaise with suppliers & coordinate shipments, generate quotation, purchase order and shipping documents to customer. Responsible for monitoring warehouse stock inventory and liaise with customers and supply chain vendors to ensure smooth delivery & fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To support country profitability targets ensuring that all operations key performance indicators (KPIs) are on track and met.
  2. To support sales in managing projects through detailed shipping handlings.
  3. To handle full spectrum of shipping documents for local and overseas markets while ensuring adherence to all local and regulatory guidelines to protect ITPL’s interest.
  4. To liaise with suppliers, 3PL service providers, shipping lines and customers closely including L/C management for negotiation and acceptance.
  5. To generate Quotations, Sales Order, Purchase Order, Delivery Order, Invoice and Shipping Documents and ensure accurate invoicing as per contractual agreement and resolve disputes.
  6. To arrange Land Transport for Singapore and Malaysia Market, Import and Export Shipment and Stock Inventory.
  7. To manage operational matters on & off line including analysis in customer service, logistics and supply chain, on projects / sales assigned to you.
  8. Any other tasks assigned by the Superior.


Professional Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 to 3 years in relevant/ similar capacity experience.
  2. Minimum a Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  3. Proficiency in preparation of full set of shipping documents for all markets.
  4. Proficiency in Excel and ERP system.
  5. Exposure in a trading or distributor environment with relevant working experience in similar capacity.
  6. Able to do switch bill of lading procedures and manage Certificate of Origin.
  7. Experience in Bonded warehouse documents handling and transactions.
