Job summary

A leading transport company in Singapore is seeking an experienced operations manager. The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors and day-to-day operations while assisting with route planning and incident management. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the private bus sector, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and organizational skills. • Handle daily ground operations and enquiries.
• Assist in route planning and report preparation.

• Inspect vehicles.
• Perform other management-assigned jobs.

• Incident management
• Updating of CMS
• Handling day to day ground operation
• Assist in route planning
• Assist in report preparation
• Assist in sourcing of subcons
• Inspection of vehicles
• Any other jobs assigned by the management

Experience / Qualifications

• Preferred Diploma / Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operation, preferably in subcon or driver management
• Experience in private bus industry is preferred
• Working in a school environment
• Good team player, interpersonal skills, full of initiatives with sense of ownership
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills
• Able to prioritize and multitask between Operations and Customer Service role
• Able to start work as early as 0600hrs
• 5 days work week
• Fast pace work environment
• Able to commute from school to office at Ubi few times during working hours
• Good communication skills
