Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth delivery of patient and resident care services.
- Manage and coordinate activities across clinical, administrative, and support departments (e.g., nursing, allied health, facilities, housekeeping, and catering).
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor performance metrics and key operational indicators to drive efficiency and service quality.
- Collaborate with senior management in long‑term planning, budgeting, and organizational development.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance patient/resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Support the development of new programs, services, and partnerships to meet community and organizational needs.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and staff development to ensure adequate staffing levels and capability building.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and external service providers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with MOH, AIC, and other healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Oversee safety, infection control, and risk management practices within the facility.
- Support internal and external audits, licensing renewals, and accreditation exercises.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, track expenditure, and ensure cost‑effective resource utilization.
- Review financial reports and implement measures to improve operational and financial efficiency.
- Liaise with government agencies, healthcare partners, and community organizations to strengthen collaborations.
- Handle escalations and provide operational insights to management for decision‑making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or related field.
- At least 10 years of healthcare operations experience, with 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of hospital or nursing home operations, including regulatory and accreditation frameworks.
- Proven track record in project management, process improvement, and cross‑departmental coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting, manpower planning, and healthcare systems preferred.
