Role Overview

As an Operational Risk / ERMF Specialist, you will support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, assist in governance processes, and work closely with business units to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing risk policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Support firm-wide risk governance, including establishing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and preparing Board Committee reports.
  • Collaborate with Risk Champions and Owners across business units to compile and review risk reports.
  • Consolidate and analyze regional incident data and perform trend/thematic reviews.
  • Support product risk assessments and ensure controls are validated and remedial actions are timely.
  • Assist in managing key risk indicators across risk pillars and support central risk oversight.
  • Participate in operational risk initiatives such as third-party risk management, incident management, and business continuity planning.
  • Prepare risk dashboards and reports for management.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as required by the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields preferred.
  • 3-6 years experience in financial services, operational risk, audit, advisory, or product management.
  • Familiarity with database management and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) tools is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
