Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an Operational Excellence & TPM Engineer to lead TPM rollout across global facilities. You will champion continuous improvement, standardize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and performance.

This role includes training, data analysis with Power BI/Tableau/Excel, audits, and deployment of AI-enabled enhancements while ensuring adherence to standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 2+ years in manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Experience implementing TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven mindset.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing projects.

As an Operational Excellence & TPM Engineer at Micron, you will lead the implementation of systems and programs that improve performance and reliability for our global Facilities operations.

This is a highly impactful, global-facing role where you will be the champion for fostering a continuous improvement culture that drives operational and reliability excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and scale programs worldwide. You will play a key role in deploying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), standardizing best practices, and implementing new operational solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) at your assigned site(s) by conducting training sessions and workshops.
• Lead global operational excellence initiatives focusing on process standardization, performance improvement, and waste reduction.
• Design, develop and deliver innovative solutions that support a high-performance culture and enhance organization effectiveness.
• Analyze maintenance and operations data to identify performance, reliability, and cost improvement opportunities.
• Conduct audits to ensure alignment with TPM and operational excellence standards.
• Develop and standardize best practices, maintenance methods, and SOP's.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Experience implementing TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project execution.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
