Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Project Management & Planning
    Lead and oversee the full cycle of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with design intent, schedule, and quality objectives.
    Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, cost estimates, and procurement strategies.
    Conduct regular progress meetings with site teams, consultants, and clients to monitor milestones and address challenges promptly.
  • Site Operations & Coordination
    Supervise and coordinate the work of site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to ensure seamless project execution.
    Manage daily site operations and ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
    Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship to maintain high-quality standards across all trades.
    Conduct site inspections and audits to verify progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety Management
    Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
    Promote a strong safety culture on-site and ensure all activities adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
    Conduct regular safety briefings and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are promptly taken when required.
  • Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
    Anticipate potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
    Address technical and operational problems promptly to maintain workflow continuity.
    Provide guidance and support to team members in resolving site and coordination challenges.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal management.
    Ensure clear, consistent communication across all project stakeholders to align expectations and maintain transparency.
    Prepare detailed project reports, progress updates, and documentation for management review.
  • Budget & Cost Control
    Monitor project expenditures, manage cost control processes, and ensure financial efficiency without compromising quality.
    Review and approve progress claims, variations, and contractor invoices.
    Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization during project execution.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations.
    Maintain organized and up-to-date records of project documents, including drawings, permits, correspondence, and reports.
    Assist in the preparation of project handover documents and ensure smooth transition to operations or maintenance teams.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    Mentor and develop site engineers and junior staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional conduct among all site personnel.
    Participate in post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and enhance future project delivery.
  • Other Duties
    Perform any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by senior management to support organizational goals.
