Job summary

A leading Environmental Services provider in Singapore is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee cleaning operations and ensure high service standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of operational experience, a strong customer service background, and the ability to lead teams effectively. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations; Facilities Management or Cleaning industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service background with a proven track record.
  • Bilingual in English and one other major language.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations to ensure high standards of service.

  • Coordinate closely with the Operations Director, Supervisors and Clients to maintain service quality.

  • Ensure all cleaning teams comply with safety guidelines and operational procedures.

  • Support operational needs during events, functions and special occasions requiring enhanced cleaning management.

  • Assist in budget planning and cost control for cleaning operations.

  • Compile, analyse and present operational data to recommend process improvements.

  • Participate in developing and reviewing operational plans to enhance work procedures and service delivery.

  • Manage stock, inventory and maintenance schedules for tools and equipment.

  • Facilitate smooth workflow processes and resolve operational or contractual issues promptly.

  • Identify and report potential risks or contract changes to management.

  • Lead and guide teams in responding to major incidents or emergencies.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations; experience in Facilities Management or Cleaning industry preferred.

  • Strong customer service background with a proven track record.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in English and one other major language.

  • Hands‑on, proactive, and able to work independently with strong initiative.

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
