Job summary

Cantellat Software in Singapore is seeking an OpenShift Virtualization / KVM Platform Engineer to manage and optimize our virtualization stack. The role focuses on platform administration, performance monitoring, and automation to ensure a stable production environment.

You will lead VM provisioning, migrations, and resource management while maintaining Linux systems and applying patches. A hands-on mindset and 4–6 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of infrastructure and platform administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization and/or KVM in production.
• Knowledge of VM provisioning, migration, and resource management.
• Proficient Linux troubleshooting and patch management.
• Experience with Ansible and automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Platform administration of OpenShift Virtualization and KVM platforms.
• Perform regular health checks and monitoring of the virtualization platform.
• Monitor VM performance, CPU, memory, storage, and resource utilization.
• Create, migrate, optimize, and decommission virtual machines (VMs).
• Troubleshoot OpenShift, KVM, VM, and virtualization issues.
• Support and maintain Linux environments (RHEL) including patching.
