Join Singapore’s pioneering farm-to-table restaurant! At Open Farm Community, we champion sustainability by sourcing local produce, minimising waste, and creating produce-driven dishes in a lush, green setting.

Job highlights

  • 5-day 48 hours work week
  • 2 off days/week
  • Split Shift per work day ( 12pm - 3pm, 6pm - 11pm)

We're looking for passionate and skilled chefs to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Demi Chef Responsibilities
• Support senior chefs in prep, cooking, and plating
• Ensure consistency, cleanliness, and mise en place
• Follow recipes and kitchen standards closely
• Learn about sustainable sourcing and seasonal produce
• Rotate through stations and assist across sections as needed

Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
• Eagerness to grow in a supportive environment
• Passion for sustainable, locally sourced food

Chef de Partie Responsibilities
• Lead a designated kitchen section (grill, sauce, pastry, etc.)
• Supervise and train junior staff and demi chefs
• Monitor inventory and support daily ordering needs
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and plating standards
• Collaborate on new menu items using seasonal ingredients

Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong organisation and multitasking skills
• Keen interest in responsible, progressive cooking
