SUMMARY:
The Onsite Technician is responsible for assembling, configuring and servicing custom desktop PCs while providing reliable onsite technical support to customers. This role involves a combination of hands‑on technical expertise with driving responsibilities, including the safe delivery of systems and travel to customer premises for service appointments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Technical Support & PC Assembly
- Assemble, configure, and test custom desktop PCs to company specifications
- Diagnose and resolve hardware‑related issues
- Perform onsite repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance for customers’ systems
- Conduct quality checks and ensure all systems are delivered in optimal condition
Driving & Logistics
- Drive to customer locations for deliveries and onsite service appointments
- Transport products, components, and tools safely to customers and event locations
- Ensure timely and professional handling of all deliveries and service calls
Customer Service
- Provide clear explanations of technical issues and solutions to customers professionally
- Maintain a customer‑first approach in all onsite interactions
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or management when required
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate service reports, job records, and parts usage
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hardware and equipment
- Perform any other duties assigned by seniors
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Physically able to handle transport of desktop systems and equipment
- Preferably experience in PC assembly, IT Technical support, or a related field
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
