Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Onsite Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid engineering background with a focus on Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines. The Onsite Engineer will support various phases of construction, from design to production, while ensuring alignment with engineering standards, regulations, and site‑specific requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Support: Provide technical guidance and support across multiple engineering projects in construction and production environments.
- Design & Production Integration: Collaborate with design teams, production teams, sales & project management teams and the construction unit to implement engineering designs, verify design feasibility, and ensure proper execution at the site.
- Site Supervision: Conduct onsite testing, verification, and quality assurance, working closely with the production & construction team.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that all engineering solutions adhere to basic IEC standards and Offshore & Marine engineering standards.
- Multi‑disciplinary Coordination: Interface with various engineering teams (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical) to resolve site‑specific issues efficiently.
- Problem‑solving: Verify the onsite challenges and develop practical solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Project Planning & Monitoring: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to ensure timely project delivery.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Onsite training with both theoretical and practical modules. And, hands‑on experience with site testing and verification in collaboration with the production team.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5‑10 years with the proven experiences in an Engineering Design House / EPC / yard production engineering and construction project execution.
- Design Software Skills: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Offshore/Marine Standards: Basic understanding of IEC and Offshore & Marine engineering standards.
- Soft Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to solve complex problems efficiently and creatively; proven multitasking ability and ability to prioritize tasks effectively; strong project planning and organizational skills; proactive and self‑motivated with a positive attitude.
