Job summary

Lion Global Investors Limited in Singapore seeks an Associate/Assistant Manager, Risk Management (1 Year Contract) to support a wide range of risk areas including operational, liquidity, and data governance. You will work under the Head of Risk Management and coordinate key risk control and attestation exercises.

The role requires a degree in finance related fields and 2–3 years in finance with strong analytical skills, Excel, and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree in finance, accountancy or business.
• At least 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in the financial industry, preferably in asset management and in audit (Internal controls Auditor from Big 4 Accounting Firms).
• Open to feedback and suggestions while adhering to instructions from direct managers and Head of Department
• Awareness of risk related issues and strong risk analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
• Proactive, result driven with strong attention to detail
• Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Committed to continuous learning and excellence
• Strong work and team ethics, and a high level integrity and dedication

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Annual Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) review and related exercises.
• Coordinate Business Continuity Management (BCP) planning and testing.
• Review trading counterparties and manage onboarding per MAS guidelines.
• Monitor liquidity risk and report to management/regulators.
• Review third-party risk and outsourcing per MAS guidelines.
• Collaborate with IT to verify Technology Risk Management (TRM) controls.
• Ensure PDPA data governance and manage data incidents.
• Support internal/external audits and incident reporting.
• Administer risk management training and awareness.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and ad-hoc duties.
