Job summary

DCS Power Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to carry out general repair and maintenance on vessels and in workshops. You will dismantle and troubleshoot defects, perform repair and/or replacement of mechanical spare parts, and conduct alignment checks to reassemble components.

Additionally, you will test equipment to ensure smooth operation and report job completion status to your supervisor. The role involves 5.5 working days per week and base salary plus OT.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair and maintenance jobs onboard vessels or in workshops
• Dismantle and troubleshoot for mechanical defects
• Perform repair and/or replacement of mechanical spare parts
• Perform alignment checks and reassemble the mechanical parts
• Perform testing of equipment to ensure smooth operation
• Perform test run and report to superior on the job completion status
• 5.5 working days per week
