The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Marine Surveyor to attend surveys on board ships and at sites, both islandwide and in anchorages.

The role involves inspecting cargo, measuring equipment, and reporting on conditions for insurance purposes. You will verify equipment compliance with standards and may travel overseas. Requirements include Nitec/ITE in Marine or Diploma in Nautical/Maritime Studies; experience aboard ships is an advantage; readiness for irregular hours,

Qualifications

• Nitec/ITE related in Marine or Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or Marine related from a local polytechnic/private institution.
• Prepare to work at irregular hours as well as on weekends and Public Holidays due to ships' schedule.
• Opportunity to travel overseas upon satisfactorily performance and skill.

Responsabilités

• To attend / carry out various types of survey on board ships and sites on cargo, cargo measuring equipment and marine related activities.
• To perform marine survey onboard vessels and cargo inspection on sites in order to assess and report on their condition for insurance claim.
• To verify the equipment onboard vessel to ensure compliance with various standards or specifications.
