Job summary

VENLEY TYRE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled field technician to perform tyre installation and basic forklift repairs at customer sites in Singapore. You will advise on tyre maintenance, prepare service reports, and help manage job progress to meet team KPIs.

Responsibilities include installing tyres on forklifts and other equipment, performing regrooving, and coordinating with customers and contractors. The role requires driving and physical fieldwork in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

Must have Class 3 driving license to travel to job sites.
5+ years of experience in mechanical or automotive maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical engines, diesel engines, and electrical wiring systems.

Responsibilities

Install tyres on forklifts and other industrial equipment at customer premises.
Perform tyre regrooving to extend tyre life where applicable.
Advise customers on tyre condition and proper maintenance for safety and performance.
Prepare accurate service reports upon job completion for records and references.
Monitor daily job status and manage assistant technicians to ensure timely completion.
Assist with workshop tyre pressing activities when needed.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and system faults on forklifts to maintain operation.
Perform basic repairs (brake replacement, oil changes, battery replacement, servicing).
Coordinate with customers and contractors to schedule and resolve issues.
Contribute to team KPIs by achieving targets.
