Job summary

Pacific Central Teknik Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to support successful execution of engineering projects in town gas, natural gas, and petrochemical industries. You will report to the Project Manager and coordinate ME&I activities on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.

Must have a Bachelor's in engineering and at least five years' experience managing asset renewal or construction projects in oil & gas or petrochemicals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing work sites for asset renewal or construction projects within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• WSQ Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant or equivalent.
• Experience in supervising and managing ME&I works on project sites.
• Experience in site management, project scheduling, and coordination for construction projects.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards, construction practices, quality control, and WSH requirements applicable to oil & gas and process plant projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.
• Willing to work full-time on-site.
• Willing to travel and coordinate work across multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Manager and assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
• Manage and coordinate daily ME&I works on-site.
• Manage site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and WSH regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, scheduling, manpower, materials, and site activities to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate and manage activities across multiple project sites, including travelling to different sites when required.
• Review and coordinate method statements, work procedures, risk assessments, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements before site execution.
• Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical, coordination, and site-related issues.
• Monitor site progress and report project status, risks, delays, and potential issues to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor activities to support project schedules.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
