Quantinuum seeks a motivated Quantum Computer Hardware Engineer to operate and maintain an on‑premises Helios quantum computer in Singapore, as part of a strategic partnership with the Singapore National Quantum Office. You will work hands‑on with optical, mechanical and electronic subsystems, develop maintenance plans, and document procedures.

Requirements include a physics/engineering degree, 2+ years in lab R&D, fluency in English, travel flexibility, and compliance with security

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, or a hands‑on Engineering discipline.
• Two+ years of lab R&D experience building, validating, optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a complex scientific apparatus.
• Strong English communication, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel abroad for training or business needs on short notice.
• Security rules may restrict nationals per U.S. government requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain an on-prem Helios quantum computer as part of a small team.
• Execute periodic maintenance plans for electrical, mechanical, and optical subsystems to maximize performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot hardware subsystems to return the system to service.
• Update and improve maintenance and operations documentation.
• Collaborate with local and global teams on maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
