A leading logistics company in Singapore seeks an OMS First Choice Advisor to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of the operations management system and drive standardization across processes. Responsibilities include training stakeholders and influencing key players to foster innovation and value. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering, strong operational background in 3PL, and experience with Lean methodologies. This role requires someone who is analytical and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
As an OMS First Choice Advisor at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and deliver value to our customers. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grown professionally.
Lead the implementation of our operations management system.
Drive the standardization of processes and continuous improvement tools across all sectors within DHL Supply chain.
Drive the flow of value within new businesses and transformative projects using your operational and project experience
Train and coach stakeholders on performance management, standardization, leadership and continuous improvement tools.
Influence key stakeholders to drive change
Work with systems engineer to implement and leverage on performance tracking and resource planning tools in a sustainable and efficient manner.
Take charge of the overall OMS governance for all sites, role modeling culture and behavior, change management expectations
Train and coach the development of OMS culture infrastructure with site champion, owner and site management team
Support site manager on span of control analysis and adjustment plan
Support site leadership team to develop Excellence School (physical infrastructure, trainers, training program and materials) and ensure standardization across sites
Ensure site management team adhere to the OMS standards and are focused to have shop floor team following the OMS standards and deliver continuous improvement initiatives with financial impact
Review the standard training matrix and program with each site, including particularities, detailing processes that need to be covered during trainings
Develop business cases at sites that are under OMS implementation
Share experiences, business cases of successful implementations, best practices and capabilities of OMS with site leaders and OMS champion
Support site OMS Champions to speed up on OMS coverage on sites
Gather information for standardization control (focused on OMS culture) with sites and monitor the progress with site management team
Review implementation status with each site and report to the country lead on accomplishments and critical points
Work with OMS Engineer to set up and maintain system infrastructure
Understand and address challenges with infrastructure, cultural and behavioral changes with OMS country lead
Any other assignments from the OMS country lead
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering
Strong operational background in 3PL and/or Warehouse operations is highly regarded
Experience implementing Lean methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Green/ Black Belt)
Strong change management skills; able to influence and manage stakeholders across different working levels
Passionate individuals with high initiative will be very highly regarded.
WMS systems experience highly regarded
Strong analytical or out of the box thinking
Project management experience
Computer Aptitude (MSWord, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, PowerBI)
Independent, and able to work in a team in a fast-paced environment
