At least 8 years of experience in international trade within the oil & gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends; industry client resources are preferred.

Our Client, an international resources group, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as experienced and skilled Oil Trader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage and expand your established industry network to execute profitable physical trades.
• Understand the desks and group business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.
• Drive market research for the desk and feed into the reports for the internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance existing client relationships, making regular contact and tracking daily trading activities.
• Assist senior management in establishing sector-related policies and procedures.
• Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with company policies.
• Exercise judgement and act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence and co-operate with the regulators and exchanges.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in petrochemical engineering, international trade, or economics.
• At least 8 years of experience in international trade within the oil & gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry trends; industry client resources are preferred.
• Familiarity with the specific trading processes and regulations of international fuel oil trade.
• Strong market development, negotiation, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other office software applications.
