Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Engineer to prepare drawings and reports, maintain ERP item codes, and advise on premium connections.

You will support tender evaluations, assess manufacturing capabilities, and drive continuous improvement and HSE involvement. Requires diploma/degree in mechanical engineering, 1–3 years experience, and CAD skills (SolidWorks/Inventor).

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in oil and gas industry (upstream) preferred.
• Solid mechanical engineering knowledge, especially on stress analysis, steel material properties.
• Intermediate skills on CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor).
• Able to write technical reports.
• Understand API specifications, especially 5CT, 5B, 5C3, and 5C5 is an added advantage.
• Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and technical reports.
• Maintain a database of engineering information, including drawings, test reports, etc.
• Maintain item code in ERP system.
• Provide technical advice on premium connections to Sales Department and customers.
• Support Customer Service Department in technical evaluation of tenders and RFQs, including proposing suitable products and assessing internal manufacturing capabilities.
• Evaluate technical aspects of a contract.
• Provide technical advice to manufacturing facilities to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with specification.
• Work closely with business units to assess weaknesses in the current state and help develop future state process through application of continuous improvement (CI) tools and methodologies.
• Manage and/ or participate in CI projects.
• Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard/ incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls.
• Ensure work activities and behavior achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements.
• In addition to those duties/ responsibilities employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.
