Job description

The Officer or Executive, Marketing & Project Management plays a crucial role in supporting Executive Director in the various initiatives that SAAA undertakes. This position has a strong focus on identifying, bringing aboard new members to association, new potential revenue streams and managing project collaborations with various stakeholders.

We are seeking a dynamic self-starter and self-driven individual with a proven ability in people skills and project management. The individual should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, team player and willingness to go for the extra mile. Individual should also be open minded to adapt to tasks assigned beyond its main responsibilities.

Strategic Implementation of Industry Initiatives

• Enhance our membership growth through SAAA Industry Initiatives
• Manage member relations
• Identify and grow SAAA membership base
• Actively seek out and generate leads to expand opportunities for collaborations
• Drive the development of a robust pipeline of industry alliances

Corporate Engagement and Stakeholder Mapping

• Develop outreach efforts by identifying potential organisations for membership growth and revenue growth within existing business streams
• Develop and maintain relationships with SAAA and industry partners.

Project Management

• Oversee and manage industry projects, from registration, qualification, acceptance, claims and reimbursement stages
• Manage the respective key performance indicators stipulated by contract agreements
• Lead the audit process

Events Support

• Support at all SAAA events participation
• Engage stakeholders at events

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, but fresh graduates with passion are welcome to apply.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills across organisational hierarchy and ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
• Communicate effectively with key decision makers through business closing.
• Proven competencies in business development and demonstrated success in driving account growth.
• Ability to problem solve independently.
• Project management skills, with experience in leading internal and external audits will be added plus point.
• Proven track record in industry collaboration and experience in the logistics sector will be advantageous.

Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

Office operating hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30 am to 05:30pm
