Job summary
A recruitment consultancy firm in Singapore is looking for a detailed-oriented customer support professional. The role involves handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and liaising with Singapore Customs for permit applications. Bilingual candidates in English and Mandarin are preferred, along with prior logistics or operations experience. Flexibility to work half-days on Saturdays is required.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers.
- Strong attention to detail with good communication and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in basic office tools like Excel/Word; experience with order entry/ERP systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in operations/logistics/admin and SG Customs permit application is advantageous.
- Willingness to work half-day on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and emails on customer enquiries.
- Key-in purchase orders, check stock availability, and ensure accurate/complete orders.
- Prepare Sales Orders, Delivery Orders, Picking Lists and related shipping documents.
- Liaise with customers on delivery timing, locations and special instructions.
- Apply Singapore Customs permits and obtain approvals; liaise with Singapore Customs on permit-related issues.
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely pick, pack and delivery.
- File documentation and maintain orderly records (orders, permits, PODs, etc.).
