About the Role
Global Vantage Innovative Group (GVig) is a dynamic global company with a world-class, in-house manufacturing and R&D capability. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially-driven OEM Business Manager to own and lead the next phase of growth for our B2B manufacturing division.
This is not a traditional sales role. You will act as the business owner for the entire OEM client journey. You will be responsible for hunting new B2B accounts, strategically growing existing ones, and acting as the central client-facing project manager to ensure a seamless end-to-end delivery of all orders.
This high-impact role requires a "hunter" sales mentality, meticulous project management skills, and strong commercial acumen. You will be accountable for the full commercial performance of the OEM business unit.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial & Sales Leadership (The "Hunter")
- Hold full commercial accountability for the OEM business unit, with a primary focus on driving Sales Revenue, Gross Margin, and overall Business Unit Margin.
- Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new high-value B2B clients in the global beauty, dermo-cosmetics, and personal care spaces.
- Develop and execute a strategic account management plan to grow and nurture existing key accounts, increasing "share of wallet" and building long-term, high-value contracts.
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare quotations, and develop proposals in response to client briefs and tenders.
- Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events to build the sales pipeline.
2. Innovation-Led Sales & CRM (The "Marketer & Farmer")
- Collaborate with R&D to drive our proactive, "innovation-led" growth strategy, including marketing initiatives like our "Innovation of the Month" program.
- Own and manage the full CRM and sales pipeline from new lead generation through to conversion, utilizing our customer database to identify new opportunities.
- Develop and execute a systematic CRM strategy to manage, nurture, and upsell our existing client base, ensuring high retention and growing lifetime value.
- Analyze market trends to identify new product opportunities and emerging client needs.
3. Client Project Management (The "Deliverer")
- Act as the central, client-facing end-to-end project owner for all OEM orders.
- Serve as the critical link between the client and all internal teams, including R&D (for formulation), Procurement (for materials), Production (for scheduling), and Logistics (for delivery).
- Masterfully communicate project timelines, technical requirements, and client expectations to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively manage projects, identify bottlenecks, and follow up relentlessly to ensure a smooth, on-time, and on-budget delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 5-7+ years of B2B sales and/or business development experience, ideally from the beauty, dermo-cosmetics, FMCG, or ingredients/manufacturing industry.
- Commercial Acumen: A proven "business owner" mindset with a strong understanding of cost, pricing, and margin. You must have a demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets.
- Exceptional Project Manager: Highly organized, meticulous with details, and a natural ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Superb Communicator: You are a clear, confident, and professional communicator capable of managing expectations and building trust with both external clients and internal cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are a proactive, "roll-up-your-sleeves" problem-solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and driven to build a business.
