Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a seasoned logistics coordinator with a minimum of 10 years in ocean freight forwarding. The role requires proficiency in the CargoWise system, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-container load (FCL) and less-than-container load (LCL) shipments.
  • Handle bookings, shipping instructions, and bill of lading preparation via CargoWise.
  • Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally.

Coordinate full-container load (FCL) and less-than-container load (LCL) shipments

Handle bookings, shipping instructions, and bill of lading preparation via CargoWise

Communicate with carriers, overseas agents, and customers to ensure timely movement of cargo

Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies

Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally

Input and verify shipment costs, revenues, and vendor invoices in CargoWise

Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation standards

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer needs

Minimum 10 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding or logistics

Strong working knowledge of CargoWise system. Proficiency in CargoWise is essential for handling documentation, tracking, and operational workflows.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with export/import documentation and customs procedures

CIFFA or equivalent certification is a plus
