Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in executing treatment plans for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Supervise and guide patients during therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor and document patient responses and progress.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and therapy areas.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on activities and home environment recommendations.
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of therapy spaces.
  • Provide quality and professional rehabilitation in assigned caseloads.
  • Provide coverage of service to assigned ward(s).
  • Carry out proper and sufficient safety measures to protect patients during rehab.
  • Communicate with patient/family members to enhance rehab care, skill application, and promote therapeutic carry‑over after sessions.
  • Maintain patient records.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
  • Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards of practice.
  • Monitor compliance with data privacy and safeguarding policies.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Document and report incidents when necessary.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy workplace.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and statistics as required.
  • Assist in administrative tasks.
Education and Training
  • Supervise and train therapy assistants as directed.
  • Participate in departmental in‑service training.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
Quality Improvement
  • Involve in project groups to improve the operation of the Rehabilitation Department.
  • Assist in identifying problem areas, recommending, and implementing improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Relevant rehabilitation working experience preferred.
