📌 All Months (Except June, November & December)

• Monday: 7:30am – 6:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
• Tuesday to Thursday: 7:30am – 3:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
• Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm
• 🚫 No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holidays

🧑🍳 Key Responsibilities

🧑🍳 Lesson & Practical Preparation

• 🧺 Prepare ingredients, equipment, and materials before each practical lesson
• ⚖️ Batch ingredients for classes according to provided recipes
• 🔍 Check quality and freshness of dry and perishable food items before use

🧼 Food Lab Hygiene & Safety

• 🧽 Carry out regular cleaning of kitchens before and after practical sessions
• 🧹 Tidy preparation rooms and work areas in the food labs
• 🗑 Ensure proper and prompt disposal of food waste
• 🔌 Conduct safety checks on electrical appliances, gas mains, and sub-gas pipes
• 🔧 Ensure all equipment and appliances are in good working condition through regular inspections

🤝 Teaching & Activity Support

• 👩🏫 Assist FCE / NFS teachers during practical lessons
• 🍳 Support inter-school culinary competitions (ingredient prep, utensils, and kitchen housekeeping)
• 🏫 Assist teachers from other departments who require use of the food labs
• 🎓 Support NFS Club activities through material preparation and housekeeping
