Nurse Manager (Nursing Home/ Knowledge of ILTC Landscape/ Bright Hill MRT)-VH

Medical Leave, Medical Claim, Insurance Coverage, Annual Leaves, Monthly Allowances, Variable Bonuses, Annual Salary Increment Scheme, Nice and Dynamic Work Environment etc.

Basic Salary: $6,500 - $9,800 (Commensurate with experience)

Work location: Walking distance from Bright Hill MRT

Working hours: Monday-Friday: 8.30am-6pm

They are seeking a passionate Nurse Manager/ Senior Nurse Manager to join their big family. This role will be responsible to provide leadership in partnership with the Head of Nursing to develop and implement operational, tactical, and strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Support organizational development and communicate company vision, mission, and values to the nursing team
  • Assist Head of Nursing in creating an exceptional "Experience" for residents
  • Promote a learning culture to develop future leaders and inspire new talent in community care
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Clinical Governance & Compliance
  • Develop and review nursing policies, SOPs, and infection control procedures
  • Maintain audit frameworks and ensure compliance with MOH licensing requirements
  • Drive clinical quality improvement initiatives
  • Capability Development
  • Lead recruitment, development, and retention of nurses in collaboration with HR
  • Partner with Nurse Educator to enhance skills and expand roles
  • Facilitate training programs, orientation, and external collaborations
  • Operational Responsibilities
  • Conduct client rounds and evaluate care quality
  • Mentor and coach nurses; assess staff performance and competencies
  • Ensure alignment of clinical systems with organizational standards
  • Promote workplace safety and lead CultureSAFE initiatives
  • Perform audits on clinical skills and customer service
  • Systems & Infection Control
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data collection
  • Monitor equipment usage and report gaps
  • Enforce infection prevention policies and adherence to hygiene standards
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the Intermediate and Long-Term Care landscape (MOH regulations, funding schemes (e.g., subsidies, MediSave), care models, and integration with acute care and community services) preferred
  • Knowledge of practices that promote self-care, behavior change, and personalized care
  • Familiarity with local healthcare priorities
  • Genuine interest in introducing innovative care models for older adults
  • Ability to learn new skills and enhance aged care effectiveness for self and team
