Working Hours: 5 / 5.5 days, office hour

Job Description:

Lead nursing staff by fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and development to ensure high standards of clinical competence and professionalism.

Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics; provide regular feedback, coaching, clinical supervision, and mentorship to support staff growth.

Design and implement comprehensive training, continuing education, and competency programs to ensure regulatory compliance and professional development.

Collaborate with physicians, health professionals, and department heads to implement evidence-based protocols, enhance interdisciplinary communication, and improve care coordination.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and nursing best practices in patient safety and quality improvement.

Monitor patient outcomes, clinical indicators, and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based interventions.

Lead and engage nursing staff in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and reviews to enhance safety, clinical outcomes, and patient experience.

Develop and manage staffing models, schedules, and workflow processes to optimize care delivery, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Manage nursing budgets, identifying opportunities for cost containment and resource optimization.

Coordinate with supply chain management for inventory, equipment procurement, and availability of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.

Establish systems and protocols for infection control, inventory management, and operational safety.

Play a key role in the setup and operationalization of nursing services in the hospital, including staffing plans, workflow design, policy development, and infrastructure planning with architects and facility designers.

Requirements:

Min Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a post-basic qualification in the relevant nursing specialty.

Singapore Registered Nurse with at least 8 years of post-registration clinical experience in Operating Theatre, of which 2 years must be in supervisorial position

Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
