Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing firm in Singapore seeks an experienced nursing leader to manage the Operating Theatre. The successful candidate will ensure high standards in patient care and lead nursing staff during the new hospital setup. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a valid SNB registration, and significant supervisory experience. Competitive salary of up to $9,000 with various benefits is offered.

Summary
  • Working Location: West Singapore
  • Working Time: 9am to 6pm (Shift work may be required later)
  • Working Days: Monday - Friday
  • Basic Salary: Up to $9,000
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to nursing staff in the Operating Theatre.
  • Oversee and ensure high standards of clinical care, patient safety, and service quality.
  • Plan, develop, and operationalize nursing services for the new hospital setup.
  • Manage manpower, scheduling, resources, and departmental budgets efficiently.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement, safety, and accreditation initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee staff training, education, and professional development programs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and operational effectiveness.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution approved by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Post-basic qualification in the relevant nursing specialty.
  • Registered Nurse with SNB, with at least 10 years of post-registration clinical experience, including minimum 2 years in a supervisory position.
  • Prior experience in nursing management or administration, preferably in a startup or hospital expansion environment.
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Operating Theatre nursing experience is a must.
