About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations in a premium confinement centre. The role ensures professional standards of maternal and newborn care while leading a team of nurses and maternity care assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing and caregiving team to ensure consistent, high-quality postnatal care.
 - Supervise, guide, and motivate the nursing and care staff to uphold professional standards and deliver excellent service.
 - Establish and implement nursing care protocols, SOPs, infection control, and hygiene standards in line with SNB/MOH/HCSA requirements.
 - Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to ensure staff competency and morale.
 - Coordinate staff rostering, shift assignments, and manpower planning to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
 - Develop and conduct onboarding and training programs for new nurses and maternity care assistants.
 - Promote a positive and collaborative work culture, ensuring effective communication between nurses, caregivers, management, and clients.
 - Coordinate with management and external healthcare providers when medical attention or hospital transfer is required.
 - Maintain accurate nursing documentation, patient records, and care plans.
 - Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and manpower planning to ensure adequate coverage.
 - Oversee medication storage, basic medical supplies, and ensure proper documentation and disposal.
 - Serve as the primary clinical contact for mothers and families, providing guidance and reassurance during their stay.
 
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Practising Certificate.
 - Diploma or Degree in Nursing (recognized by SNB).
 - Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
 - Proven experience in team leadership and staff development.
 - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
 - Experience in maternity, obstetrics, neonatal, or postnatal care preferred.
 - Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
