Job Description

• Assess, identify, implement, coordinate and evaluate departmental nursing staffs’ continuing education, training and development plans to ensure provision of competent and quality patient care.
• Responsible for nursing staff induction, clinical education / training, in-service education, personal and professional growth.
• Collaborate with the nurse Managers/Clinicians and other health professionals on relevant staff development and in-service education.
• Assist in the preparation, review and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and clinical competency checklists for the department.
• Provides career counselling/coaching for all levels of nursing staffs’ professional development.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• Post-basic Specialty Certificate in Nursing Education or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a Senior Staff Nurse or Clinical Instructor
• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
