Job description

As a Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in building nursing capabilities and strengthening clinical excellence within SingHealth Polyclinics. You will develop and implement educational initiatives that support nurses’ professional growth, align with clinical priorities, and advance patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and develop nursing education curricula in alignment with organisational and clinical priorities.
  • Deliver and evaluate nursing training programmes to support nurses’ ongoing competency and professional growth.
  • Facilitate clinical education, preceptorship, and guidance of clinical instructors/ preceptors.
  • Provide clinical education, supervision, and assessment of nursing students during their clinical attachments.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and clinical teams to identify learning needs and implement evidence-based practices.
  • Integrate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enrich the learning experience of nurses.
  • Lead or participate actively in research, innovation, and evaluation activities to advance nursing education and care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent with Post basic or Advanced Diploma in Nursing of any discipline
  • Registered and holds a valid practising licence with Singapore Nursing Board
  • Holds a valid BCLS certificate
  • Minimum two years of teaching experience
  • Recognised Advanced Certificate in Learning and Development/Specialist Diploma in Clinical Education/Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education or Master of Education will be an added advantage
