Job description

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

  • Coordinate, direct, plan and evaluate the standards of care rendered to patient
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the desired health outcomes for patients
  • Provide guidance and direction to Assistant Nurse Clinicians and below to ensure optimal care is delivered to meet patient health needs
  • Able to assume rotation into senior roles when required to do so, based on experience, competence and capacity for adaptability and flexibility
  • Possess interpersonal skills to exert positive influence in leading and coaching nurses towards developing clinical excellence
  • Be insightful and analytical and foster inquiry, critical thinking, skill acquisition to advance nursing practice and patient care
  • Assist the AD/SNM in coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Registered with SNB
  • Degree in Nursing or its equivalent
  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing or equivalent is preferred
  • Valid BCLS certificate
  • Registered Nurse with at least 2 years' experience as NC in a ward setting
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills and work attitude
