Job summary

Candidates should hold a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiography, with a preference for those with experience in the field. Full vaccination against Covid-19 is required.

Job description

Role Overview

You will perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures on patients to produce quality images for diagnostic interpretation. You will dispense radioisotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. There are opportunities for participation in the research programmes of the Department and also in collaboration with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine procedures by providing simple and effective instructions.
• Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures as per protocol and process the obtained data.
• Conduct Nuclear Medicine Dosimetry on patients before Y90 Microspheres treatment under angiography guidance.
• Conduct Nuclear Medicine Dosimetry on patients who have undergone Tc99m MAA procedure under angiography guidance; review SPECT/CT images, draw ROI, calculate liver-lung shunting dosage leakage, and calculate the Y90 dosage for treatment.
• Dispense 131Iodine and other radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform daily quality control procedures of gamma cameras and other imaging equipment.
• Participate in the research programmes of the department and in collaboration with other departments.
