Job summary

HEPTAGON PHOTONICS PTE. LTD.

is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to lead all product and process quality activities from concept through mass production, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and customer expectations are met. You will work with R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to apply DFQ/DFM/DFR, manage FMEA and Control Plans, lead APQP, and drive issue resolution using 8D and RCCA in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Optical/Photonics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics.
Minimum 7 years of quality or product engineering experience, including ≥3 years in NPI or Advanced Quality roles within optics/electronics/manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001; IATF 16949 knowledge is an advantage).
Proficiency in APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA/DFMEA, MSA, SPC, Process Validation, PPAP and related qualification methodologies.

Responsibilities

Represent the Quality function in the project core team and lead all quality-related activities.
Lead the NPI Quality Planning process and ensure quality deliverables are completed on time.
Collaborate with R&D and Technical teams on DFQ/DFM/DFR principles and maintain FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and Verification & Validation Plans.
Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) and participate in system/process/product audits to verify stability and control.
Drive issue resolution using 8D, RCCA, DMAIC and interface with customers on quality topics.
