Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through mass production. The role involves collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, as well as ensuring manufacturability and overseeing project plans. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5–10 years of relevant experience. Strong project management skills, with PMP certification a plus, are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage NPI projects from concept through mass production.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturability.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Excellence (DFx) reviews.
  • Oversee process validation, equipment selection, tooling, and documentation.
  • Ensure manufacturing readiness and ramp-up plans are in place.
  • Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external partners for tooling and materials.
  • Monitor key metrics: yield, cycle time, cost, and quality during pilot builds.
  • Provide technical training and support to production teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or product development.
  • Strong project management skills; PMP certification preferred.
