Job summary

SANKYU (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a forklift operator for permanent night shifts at our Tuas sites. The role requires safe, efficient handling of cargo and regular forklift maintenance to support daily warehouse operations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of forklift experience and a certified forklift license. The work week is 5.5 days, with scheduled hours from 20:00 to 05:00, and occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of relevant forklift operation experience.
• Must have a valid forklift driving license (certified).
• Permanent night shift.
• Able to work in Tuas.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a forklift to transport goods and ensure safe handling of cargo.
• Perform regular inspections and maintain forklift in good operating condition.
• Conduct monthly stock taking to ensure accurate inventory.
• Ensure correct picking and storage of cargoes from designated locations.
• Contain and manage minor cargo spillages safely.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned.
