Your future position

As we look to build out the role of research within Kpler we are adding experienced market professionals with solid backgrounds across the worlds of trading, refining, fundamental analytics and consulting. The successful candidate will be working as part of a growing Downstream team and will be responsible for maintaining and developing our in‑house models and forecasts concerning Natural Gas Liquids/Light Ends market activity and developments, as well as contributing to the research content of the team. They will be at ease talking to clients and happy to work in quite a commercial role where there is a strong connection between research, commercial managers and Kpler’s clients and prospects.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify, research, and communicate key developments and forward‑looking views in the NGLs (Ethane, LPG) & Naphtha markets for Kpler’s Insight client base
  • Help improve Kpler’s Supply & Demand models and Price Forecasts for the global NGLs & Naphtha markets
  • Through such insights, and using Kpler’s proprietary information, work closely with the global sales and marketing teams to demonstrate the value of Kpler’s solutions to the industry.
  • Use your knowledge and experience to enhance market coverage through the development of new models and reports.
  • Promote research and materials produced within Kpler across all external stakeholders, building relationships with both the mainstream and specialist media.
  • Engage with clients and prospects via presentations and travel to client meetings with sales/account managers when required
  • Produce company webinars as well as participate in external webinars and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to further develop our portfolio of client offerings.
You could be a good fit if you are or have
  • 3+ years of prior experience in the analysis of NGLs/Light Ends markets – applications from more Senior Analysts are welcome too.
  • Experience building NGLs/Light Ends supply/demand models.
  • >You have experience in producing independent market analyses, reports and insights as well as working collaboratively within a team
  • You are skilled at conducting complex analyses across multiple datasets using appropriate tools – Expert Excel skills
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable presenting your analyses to clients and prospects, both virtually and in‑person
Nice to have
  • Experience with models for petrochemical operations, including refinery activity.
